Welcome to
The Care Pod
A Warm and Welcoming Space for Wellbeing, Social Connection and Flexible Respite
The Care Pod provides friendly day and half-day sessions for people who would benefit from social interaction, meaningful activity and gentle support in a safe and welcoming local setting.
We support people with a range of needs, including those looking for companionship, routine and wellbeing activities, as well as people living with dementia or memory-related needs and those who may need additional support.
For carers and families, The Care Pod offers trusted time back, with the reassurance that the person you care for is spending time somewhere supportive, friendly and purposeful.
What Is The Care Pod?
The Care Pod is a local wellbeing and respite space where people can come together, take part in enjoyable activities, meet others and feel supported.
Our sessions are designed to offer structure, companionship and meaningful time outside the home. Each session is delivered with care, warmth and attention to the needs of the people attending.
We are dementia-friendly, but not dementia-only. This means we can support people with memory-related needs while also welcoming others who would benefit from social connection, wellbeing support and a safe place to spend time.

Support for Individuals and Respite for Carers
A Positive Day for the Person Attending
The Care Pod is designed to feel calm, friendly and purposeful. People attending can enjoy social time, gentle activities, conversation, refreshments and support from appropriately trained staff.
The aim is to help each person feel welcome, included and valued.
