About the Care Pod

Community-based support services for children, young people and adults

Structured Community Support That Prevents Crisis and Builds Independence

At The Care Pod, we provide structured, therapeutic-informed support services in the community, helping individuals build confidence, maintain independence and access the right support at the right time.

We support:

  • Children and young people (including SEND and EBSA)

  • Young adults transitioning into independence

  • Older adults and individuals living with dementia

Our approach is built on a clear principle:

Early intervention + structured support + community delivery = better outcomes.

What Are Care Pods? | Structured Support Pathways in the Community

A “Care Pod” is a structured, supportive environment delivered locally, designed to help individuals feel safe, regulated and able to progress.

Each Pod provides:

  • A clear entry point into support services

  • Routine, stability and consistency

  • Therapeutic-informed, person-centred support

  • A pathway toward independence, wellbeing or re-engagement

The Care Pod model ensures that support is:

  • Accessible within local communities

  • Delivered in familiar, non-clinical environments

  • Focused on progression—not just attendance

Our Services | SEND, Dementia and Wellbeing Support in the Community

We deliver a range of community-based support services, structured as clear pathways:

  • Dementia and adult wellbeing support

  • Preparing for adulthood programmes (16–35)

  • Home education and wellbeing support

  • EBSA (emotionally based school avoidance) programmes

  • SEND holiday provision and sensory sessions

Each service is designed to:

  • Support individuals early

  • Stabilise wellbeing and confidence

  • Create clear next steps and progression pathways

Our Story | From Dementia Support to Lifespan Care Pathways

The Care Pod began with a focus on community-based dementia support, created to address the growing need for accessible, structured support for individuals and carers.

We recognised that many people were:

  • Struggling to access early support

  • Reaching crisis point before receiving help

  • Experiencing isolation and lack of structure

From this, the Care Pod model was developed.

Today, we support individuals across the lifespan—while staying true to our original purpose:

To provide early, structured support that helps people stay well, connected and able to move forward.

Community-Based Support Services in Your Area

We deliver our services directly within local communities, working alongside:

  • Health professionals

  • Local authorities and charities

This ensures our support is:

  • Joined-up

  • Relevant to real community needs

Our Mission | Early Support, Clear Pathways, Better Outcomes
